Sister to Sister: One in the Spirit is an organization dedicated to the empowerment of girls and women of color of all ages. Our focus has been on girls and women of color, as they are predominately the community we serve.  However, through the vast growth of the diversity of the Harlem community, we welcome, encourage, and embrace girls and women from all backgrounds, and cultures. Since its inception in 2001, Sister to Sister has been encouraging them to nurture the body, mind, and spirit through inspirational conferences and programs. Sister to Sister consists of a growing number of committed powerful women, who unselfishly share their wisdom, intelligence, and expertise in providing insight and knowledge in the areas of spirituality, beauty, health, relationships, career, and financial literacy.

Sister to Sister: One in the Spirit is committed to serving the Harlem community, and we will continue to do so by reaching out to help the many young girls and women of color who have a need for our programs and services.

For an additional $35.00, you have the option to join Sister to Sister: One in the Spirit, Inc., and become a part of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.  By activating your membership through this link, http://www.schomburgcenter.org/sistertosister you will receive a letter of communication welcoming you into the Schomburg, a membership card, as well as information to highlight the special fringe benefits to which you, and all of our sisters, will be entitled to receive as a Schomburg Sister.
